With 15 years of teaching experience, Lawrence Warry, 4th dan Aikikai Aikido instructor, started his teacher training in 2001 as assistant of the late Peter Bacas sensei, the well know Dutch Aikido pioneer. Lawrence started Aikido in 1993 with the late Paul Mitton sensei and, since that humble beginning, Lawrence has travelled the world to train with the great masters of Aikido. Since 2013, Lawrence teaches in The Hague at his own club at the Grote Pyr, since March 2016, Lawrence also gives classes in Amsterdam. See the Events and Schedule page for times and locations. Also on Lawrence sensei's almost monthly agenda is to practice with touring teacher, Takeshi Yamashima sensei, 7th dan Aikikai, who Lawrence hosts in The Netherlands 3 or 4 times per year.
